It's funny how we've been busy just about every weekend for the past few months and I can't remember what the heck we've been doing. I guess that's why I started doing the blog weekly. One day I hope to get back on schedule.

Jakey is such a quirky kid. He takes everything so literal. Lately he's been saying funny things.

The other day I was reading a book to him over and over so finally I told him to read the book.

His response ,"I can't talk to the book." Interpreted...I don't know to read.

Jakey wanted me to watch something on tv and rather than asking me to watch he told me, "mom stick your eyes" or "leave your eyes here."  Sometimes he'll say ,"turn your face."

How about one day after school he comes home and tells us he and his friend Anthony need to take Allen out. So sad that I'm not all that surprised that he thinks that, but come one. He's 3!

Alyssa is finishing up softball season. The Boltz are undefeated. Alyssa has pitched and caught amongst other positions. It's been an interesting experience. It's been a good learning opportunity for her. Sometimes to be good at things you have to work at them and some things you aren't going to love like soccer. All important lessons. I am happy to say it's almost over! On to new experiences!

Jakey asked to go "balling" (bowling) for several weeks so we finally headed for a fun afternoon at the bowling alley. Great time had by all, but I have to say that I HATE being the worst at something. Even Jakey beat me. NOT EVEN KIDDING! I was Sebe's handicap. boo!

Just love the days when you can call your friends up (or in our world, text) and say head over with your bathing suits and wine, it's pool and jacuzzi time. Summer is coming!!!! Had our first dip in the pool/jacuzzi of the season. Kids are so spoiled. They set their own temperature in the pool. What happened to the days when you just jump in and swim around until your lips are no longer blue?!!?!!? Can't believe I didn't take pictures of the first swim.... oh well, we have all SUMMER!!!! Love it!
