Serrano Family: Picture Update

Jake is super into basketball these days. His favorite team is the Miami Heat and his favorite player is Lebron James, not be confused with his old favorite player "James Lebron". Have to admit James Lebron makes way more sense that Lebron James. He is super into wearing basketball shorts and Nike Elite socks, just like the older kids. He makes sure to have a basketball in the car just in case we come across a basketball court. We enrolled Jake in a basketball class on Friday evenings. All he asks to do these days is shoot hoops. We went to a party at a friends house and he spent the entire evening shooting the basketball. I'm talking HOURS folks. So long that he finally stopped not because it was cold or dark, but because his arms were sore. It's fun to watch him enjoy a new sport.

Waiting for a court to open up.

It's "off season" for Alyssa's soccer team. This means we have not had games every single weekend. Thank goodness this coach believes in letting the body rest. We have truly enjoyed the past few months. It has allowed the girls to train, such as hiking Cowles Mountain. The coach said next week it's "ON". Time to start preparing for tournament season which starts mid-May.

Simpsons came to town and spent a few days with us. Not sure who is happier when they come, the parents or the kids.

Fun to play tourist

Jakey is currently doing the Little Reds Academy through Alyssa's soccer club, Liverpool. He was so proud he got a shirt just like the girls.
Jakey was asked to try out for the boys U7 team by the DOC, but we just aren't ready to commit to two kids in club soccer.

Alyssa and Lexie were in heaven at the USWNT team open training. Sidney took a selfie with them.
Lis and Lexie made it on the jumbo tron at the game. Exciting times!
