Happy 6th Birthday, Jake David Serrano!

My baby boy turned 6 years old on September 7, or as he used to say Neptember.  He has grown and matured so much since he started school. Did I mention he is kicking kindergartens butt! His class is on a color system, green = best and red = walk yourself to the principal.  He has been green every single day! He also just received his 5th WOW which equals a trip to the principal's office for a prize. You are rocking kinder, dude! He's made new friends. Did I mention one of his new friends has awesome parents AND an older sister? Oh, and added bonus they were already friends with our other friends?!?!!? That's like new friend jackpot!

Jakey decided he would rather have an ipad than a party. So he chose a few friends to come ride bikes, swim and sleepover.  He had a fun...even though he's hiding behind Gannon.

Jakey started his second soccer season on his birthday! He was stoked his birthday consisted of playing a game of soccer. He kicked butt and took names later. Two goals in the first several minutes of the game? That's my boy!

Jake received an award at the first assembly of the school year.  Yay!

 Same day after awards we headed out of town for Lissy's soccer tournament. While the girls and moms hung out at the hotel, the boys went to South Coast Plaza to buy a hat.  Slight mishap on the escalator resulted in a trip to Hoag Irvine ER and 5 stitches.  My poor baby! He was a trooper and handled it like a champ. He will  have a nice scar on his leg to show for years to come.

Doc told him they were going to give him a cape like a superhero before sewing him up.  That consisted of his arms behind his back in a pillowcase and then being wrapped up in a sheet. Let's just say this is NOT how he looked at the end of the procedure.  

He loves the beach and riding bikes. Perfect day for Jakey!

This pretty little girl has shared with her family that Jakey is her crush. He obvi is happy about it.
Don't get me wrong. Kailey is still his number 1!
Jakey's lunchbox went missing the first week of school. She was on the case and found it last week. Jakey out of the blue said, "my girlfriend is so cool"
