After all the crazy travel we have enjoyed some much needed down time. You know it's been crazy when Sebe tells me early in the week, don't make any plans, don't invite anyone over, we are staying home. It was music to my ears. We enjoyed normal people things like laundry, shopping and spending family time. The simple things in life.
Last weekend Michelle and I headed to San Francisco for our annual moms getaway weekend. A weekend of shopping and relaxing was just what we needed. She's a busy soccer mom too, so we don't get to spend as much time together as we would like which makes these weekends extra special. Can't even believe we have been friends for 25 years! Here's to the next 25!
Maybe when our kids are grown we will go back to spending Sunday afternoons at the mall shopping, drinking lemonade from Hot Dog on a Stick and sharing a cup of Mrs. Field's cookies, minus using her dad's credit card of course, just like when we were 16!
