this weeks happenings

I enjoy being busy, but a nice relaxing vacation doesn't sound so bad these days. I can make it to December, I can make it to December!

We have 4 regular season games left and then the season is over. Fingers crossed for playoffs. The guys have done such an amazing job with this team, it would be a true disappointment if they don't make it. They all honestly deserve to be there.

When we got home after the soccer game on Saturday I noticed our neighbors had major water running down their driveway. I asked Sebastian to go next door and tell them about their leak. I left and took the kids to a birthday party thinking all was well. Who knew that all that water was coming from our backyard. Yikes! Water had to be shut off in the house until the problem could be diagnosed. What is an entire family to do with no running water you ask? Go to the Getty's of course. Thank goodness for their casita. Sebastian always jokes about staying there since he has a key and all. Who knew the entire family would have to have a slumber party. We made a fun evening out of a bummer problem. Sunday Papa Walt fixed the pipe in a matter of minutes. All is well now. So glad we were able to have a great time in-spite of the leak. Thanks to the Getty's for being great hosts and letting us crash their weekend!

We went to the Journey concert on Friday night with the Getty's and Walter's. Who says you need actual tickets to "attend" a concert. We bought VIP parking and tailgated our way through the concert. We had a great time hanging out in the parking lot, eating yummy food and listening to the music. Can't beat the price or the company. So much fun. I would totally do it again!








Green Geckos Win, 6-0! Lis scored 2 goals and played goalie half of the game. She realized there is more to playing goalie than she thought. Hope Solo makes it look so easy!

We stayed after our game to watch Sarah and Kailey play against each other (old Fire Foxes teammates). We are determined to get these girls back together!
After an 8:00 am game, watching a 9:10 am game and a 2:00 pm birthday party, by the time SDSU tailgating comes around all sometimes all you can muster is to sit in a chair (dad included).

Who needs to watch the game when you already have your free hat and your parent's iphone. All you need to do is sit and text the person you are sitting right next to!
